The French artist, Fabien Mérelle created the sketch back in 2010. It wasn’t until 2013 that he created this sculpture for the Art Stage Singapore 2013 – a piece very important to the artist entitled, ‘Pentateuch’.
Pentateuch means five scrolls/books, in reference to the Biblical writings whose weight has conditioned many chapters of history and whose interpretation has varied greatly over time and place.
