Valerii Danevych, who comes from a long line of cabinetmakers, was able to carve fully-functioning watches from wood. Everything about these watches is made from wood, with the exception of the metal spring – needed for movement. The best part about this story is that Valerii has NO WATCHMAKING TRAINING whatsoever.
