Is a unique-factor enough to make you buy a shoe?

Scar stitch oxford scary shoe

We love weird and unique creations, and it’s no wonder Damir Doma’s latest oxford appeals to our refined taste, initially. The Laced-up Fetter oxford offers interesting stitching along the vamp, giving the impression of leather stitching holding a wound together. This is a very unique feature that has only been seen on some of Berluti’s models.

When viewed from the profile the shoe is interesting, elegant and eye-catching. The top silhouette is where the Fetter loses points with us. The round toe does not compliment the detailed stitch-work seen on Damir Doma’s creation. It’s still a nice shoe, however it doesn’t reach the elegance potential that it should. Made in Italy.
