As the Daft Punk hype continues we get (t)rolled by a Rick Roll remix. Rick Roll’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ has become the go to choice for internet trolls when hyping up leaked film footage or music. We were excited when we saw this Reddit post make it to the front page:
The actual leaked 6:07 version of “Get Lucky”!
We were disappointed that it wasn’t the actual leaked song by Daft Punk, but we were also pleasantly surprised at how good the mash-up came out. This attempted trolling backfired as now we have a sick Rick Roll x Daft Punk mix. Is this the start of a new trend? Only time will tell, in the meantime just enjoy the dope track:
